JCLucca’s Killer BBQ Chicken Rub
Sweet and smoky rub for barbecued chicken. I prefer to use this on bone-in legs and thighs.

Ingredients
Paprika
Ancho Chili Powder
Dry Mustard
Turbinado Sugar
Garlic Powder
Ground Oregano
Ground Ginger
Salt
Black Pepper
Preparation Instructions
As you can see, there are no measurements here. I don’t use any, but I am thinking about working out the proportions in a bit more detail. I usually use about 1 part of the following (Salt, pepper, ginger, orgeano, garlic powder, mustard) to 2 parts paprika, chili powder and sugar.
Rub in on the chicken and let it sit for 30-60 minutes before grilling. I also add my special bbq sauce as a glaze in the last 5 minutes or so.
