Simple Tri Tip
This recipe appeals to me because I am lazy, and this recipe is very simple

Ingredients
1 Tri Tip, 2lbs to 2.5lbs
Your favorite rub
Preparation Instructions
Preheat BBQ to 350f, indirect mode.
Coat the Tri Tip in your favorite rub. Once the BBQ is up to temp, put the Tri Tip on the grill and leave it be. It takes about 1 hour per pound of meat.
Slice it and serve it.
Cooks Notes
Cook to 160f internal temp for fairly well done. It should still be quite juicy at that temp. Due to the indirect method, the outside of the Tri Top will not caramelize.

Wow, is that recipe off. I just cooked a 4 lb tritip for less than an hour at 250 then with a quick high seer at the end at it was done. This recipe would suggest I cook it for 4 hours? Yeesh! It's not pork! The rub should be heavy in garlic and pepper
