Ingredients
1/2 white onion, finely chopped
3 cloves crushed & finely chopped garlic (mmm! garlic!)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 2/3 cups ketchup (better ketchup, better sauce)
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (heat it up if you like)
Preparation Instructions
Add olive oil in a sauce pan on medium heat and cook onion and garlic until they are soft and the lovely smell fills the kitchen.
Add the white vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and cayenne pepper.
Let this simmer for 45 minutes and it’s ready to use
Cooks Notes
If there is any left over, I re-use the ketchup bottle
